Writing Pad is provided free of charge for personal, creative, academic, and business note-taking. You agree not to use the service for any unlawful activities or in a manner that disrupts the service or infrastructure.

2. Data Preservation & User Responsibility

Writing Pad relies on your device's browser localStorage. Because notes are stored locally and not on our servers:

• Clearing your browser cache, browsing in private/incognito mode, or resetting device storage will erase your notes.
• Users are advised to regularly use the Download button (PDF, Markdown, or Plain Text) to preserve long-term archives of essential notes.

3. Disclaimer of Warranties

Writing Pad is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure from local hardware or browser failure.

4. Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall the creators of Writing Pad be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from lost notes, corrupted browser storage, or downtime.
